Sampattu is an orphanage for socially deprived children, located in Nelaguli Village, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore. The orphanage is being passionately managed by a team of retired officers from banks, and other volunteers. Sampatthu currently has 12 children drawn from The Department of Women and Child Welfare, Govt of Karnataka. The objective of Sampattu is to provide a safe shelter for the destitute children, and make them into responsible citizens and avoid them becoming anti-social elements.
The orphan kids in Sampattu are admitted into Ved Vignana Maha Peetha Vidyalaya School run by Art of Living Foundation of Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji. The children are provided with formal education and are taught human values, morals, and the cultural heritage of our country.
Sampattu is run professionally, with a medical doctor, psycho counselor, a dietician, and others for ensuring the well-being of the children. Children at the orphanage are currently doing well in their academics and their health and social behavior are very high. These children are also good at co-curricular activities like singing, drawing, etc.
The wholesome facilities at the orphanage are being provided to the children at no cost, by mobilizing support and donations from voluntary persons, corporates, and others with similar intentions.
We at Right To Live are trying to support the talents at Sampatthu by raising funds for them. You can help these poor kids and appreciate their talent through your contribution.
