Two years old Baby Atifa is the second child of Salia and Imran Turakanageri. Their joy was short-lived when within 2 months after her birth, the parents noticed a problem occurs when the child urinates. The local doctor diagnosed that there was nothing to worry about their daughter and that she was fine. But the days to come became painful for the baby and the parents.
Initially, the couple had consulted a doctor at a government hospital in Bijapur Karnataka, the baby contracted multiple illnesses, and was moved for further treatment to Rainbow Children's Medicare Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, where the doctor came to know that the baby is suffering from bilateral ectopic ureters with recurrent UTI. She underwent a left ureter cystostomy during infancy. She is currently advised for laparoscopic right ureter cystostomy. The approximate cost of the surgery is estimated around 1,20,000(INR One Lakh Twenty Thousand)
The Baby’s parents cannot afford the cost of this treatment as the father is an auto driver and the mother is a housewife. Right To Live is trying its best to raise funds for Baby’s treatment. We request you to come forward and support Baby Atifa for her treatment to help her get to a healthy life.
