Little Gangothri is a bright 3-year-old daughter of proud parents - Amarnath & Nagarathna. As Gangothri went about living a happy childhood, she unexpectedly got infected with a severe cough, which prolonged for weeks even after the regular course of antibiotics.
After undergoing further check-up, Gangothri moved to Bangalore where she was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is on treatment for the same at Paediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit at St John’s Medical College Hospital. Her overall chances of survival are 70 -80%. She has been started on chemotherapy at the same hospital from 1st February, 2021. The entire treatment will be over two and a half years.
The estimated cost of her treatment is around Rs. 6 - 7 lakhs, inclusive of Hospital ward and Daycare admissions. The child is responding so far positively to the treatment, but the family may not be save the child without the funds for treatment. Her parents cannot afford the cost of this treatment as they earn their living through daily wages. By God’s grace, they were able to bear the expenses until now, but it is up to you to help their little girl have a fighting chance at life.
We hereby request you to donate open-heartedly and help Gangothri fight against cancer and bring her back home.
