Anil Kumar Reddy and Suma after several years of marriage finally had a baby boy. This moment of joy was marred within just a few seconds of their son’s birth. The baby was diagnosed with Epidermolysis bullosa (EB). The couple are trying their best to stay strong and save their One month old son.
Initially, the couple had consulted a doctor at a government hospital in Guntakal, Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. Post-delivery, the baby contracted multiple illnesses, and was moved for further treatment to Rainbow Children's Medicare Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad. There is currently no cure for epidermolysis bullosa (EB), but treatment can help ease and control symptoms. The treatment also aims to avoid skin damage. The baby needs to undergo Gene therapy, Protein replacement therapies, Cell-based therapies - all of which costs approximately INR 6,00,000. The child’s father is a private company employee and mother, a housewife, and they are struggling to pay for his treatment and have sold whatever little gold the family possessed.
Baby’s family members cannot afford the cost of this treatment. Right To Live is trying its best to raise funds for Baby’s treatment. We request you to come forward and support Baby of Suma for his treatment to help him get to a healthy life.
