10-year-old Punith is currently undergoing Chemotherapy for advanced cancer. Below is the statement from Dr. Vasundhara Kailashnath, Consultant Hematology, Oncology & BMT, Narayana Hrudayalaya Bangalore.

This is to certify that Master Punith Gowda is diagnosed with Relapsed Acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He is under treatment at our centre. He is planned for treatment with Salvage Chemotherapy followed by Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant. The approximate cost of Salvage Chemotherapy and support care is 3,00,000/-. The approximate cost of Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant is INR.15,00,000 to 25,00,000.

His father, Mr. Mahadeva and Mother Swetha does labor work and used to earn around Rs. 5000 per month. Punitha is the only child, a very bright and academically good student. However, for the last 1 year, he has not been able to go to school and both parents have had to quit their jobs to take care of him. So currently the family is not earning any significant amount. However, Punith's parents are abled to manage some amount by selling their property and gold, now they are shortage with INR.8,00,000, we request you to come forward to fulfill the gap INR. 8,00,000. He is currently undergoing treatment at Narayana Hrudayalaya Bangalore.
