Saritha is 26 years old, married to Babu and has one child. She is a home maker and her husband work in a petrol bunk.
They live in Mysore. Babu is the only bread winner in the family and has to take care of his wife and child. After the birth of their child, Saritha started complaining about health issues, wherein doctors found that both the kidneys had failed.
She was on continued medication for two and half years, and later she was on dialysis. The approximate cost of the dialysis per week was Rs.7200/. Recently, she underwent a kidney transplant at Apollo Hospital.
The approximate cost of the transplant was Rs.5,70,000/-. They have received Rs.1,25,000 form the Chief Minister's Fund. They still need Rs.3,50,000 and post-operative medicines cost approximately 20,000 per month.
Right to Live is doing our part by funding her post-operative treatment for 3 months, which costs around 20,000 per month for a total of 60,000/- for three months.
How Right to Live is Helping:
As per our background verification, Saritha is economically poor, and cannot afford the cost of her treatment. We at Right to Live, are trying to do our bit by raising funds for her treatment.
Remember that 100% of your donation goes to the patient’s treatment. We don’t use any part of donations for admin expenses, since those costs are covered by trustees. The payment is only ever released to hospitals and not placed in patients’ hands.
