Helped 15-year-old Umme Saba fight cancer!

Patient Profile:

Umme saba was a regular college going student, until she was diagnosed with cancer four months ago.

Umme saba is just 15-year-old, she lives with her parents and 4 siblings in small house at DJ Halli, a slum community in Bengaluru. Her father works as fruit vendor and her mother works as a housemaid and their annual income is just 25,000 rupees.

Saba complained about breathlessness and on visiting doctor, she was advised to perform a CT scan. The scan revealed that she has a mass lesion on the right side, adjacent to her heart and the doctors confirmed the it is a case of Mediastinal Tumor.

She is currently undergoing treatment at HCG cancer Hospital and has been advised to undergo surgery to remove the tumor. The estimate cost of the surgery is Rs.5,50,00. And Saba’s family has no means to fund the surgery cost.

How Right to Live is Helping:

As per our background verification, Umme Saba is economically poor, and cannot afford the cost of her surgery. We at Right to Live, are trying to do our bit by raising funds for her treatment.
