Helped 3-Year-Old Gautam For Liver Transplantation

Satish and Divya could only hold onto each other as they tried to process what their doctor were telling them. They had been dreading these words for so long but having known it was a possibility did not make it any easier for these young parents to accept the fact that they may lose their baby in a few weeks.

Two years ago, they had noticed that Gautam’s stomach was starting to swell whenever he ate. What was supposed to be a simple check-up at a local clinic had led to the discovery that there was something very wrong with their son’s liver. The doctors had said he needed urgent and frequent care, without which a liver transplant would be the only way to save his life. Since then these parents have been running from doctor to doctor, hospital to hospital, trying to get their son the best care they could afford.

But their worst nightmare has come true. Their son needs a transplant surgery at the earliest, before his liver shuts down entirely. The surgery is costing around INR 18 Lakhs as per the estimation from Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore

Divya has been receiving psychological counselling to help her cope with her reality, and to prepare for the worst if it comes to that. In this time of distress, you can be her miracle

How Right To Live is Helping:

As per our background verification, Gautam Wife cannot afford the cost of his treatment. We at Right To Live are trying to do our bit by raising funds for his treatment. We request you to come forward and support Gautham for his treatment to help him get back to normal life.

Remember that 100% of your donation goes for Gautham treatment. Since the administrative costs are covered by trustees, we would not and do not use any part of your donation for anything else other than the patient’s treatment. The payment is only ever released to hospitals and not placed in patient's hands and complete transparency is maintained.
