In an ideal scenario, a 71-year-old man should be leading at least a peaceful post retirement life, if not more, after toiling hard throughout his life. But that’s not the case with Narasaiah.
Narasaiah, who is a retired BMTC employee, residing at a rented house near Thyagaraja Nagar, Bangalore, was diagnosed with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (prostate enlargement) about a year ago. When his doctor took an opinion from a cardiologist, they found out that he was also suffering from low heartbeats. As he already had diabetes, a consultant suggested him to go for urinary catheterization. He underwent surgery for the above problem, but a recent visit to the doctor revealed that he is suffering from bilateral hearing loss.
Narasaiah has been undergoing treatment at Government Hospitals and has been advised to get extra strong hearing aids for both his ears and that he also needs to undergo speech therapy simultaneously. The estimated cost of the treatment is INR 55,000 and the family is in no position to manage the expenditure.
How Right to Live is helping:
As per our background verification, Narasaiah is economically poor, and cannot afford the cost of his treatment. We, at Right to Live, are trying to do our bit by raising funds for his treatment and we request you to come forward and support Narasaiah for his treatment. Would it not be a noble thing to help an elderly person lead a normal life?
Your donation in its entirety (100%) will go towards Narasaiah’s treatment. No part of the donation will/is ever used for admin expenses, since those costs are covered by trustees. The payment is always released only to hospitals and not placed in patient's hands.
