Meet 18-Year-old Akshay, a 2nd year PUC student at Krishna P U collage Vidhyapitha circle Katruguppr Bangalore. He needs your help for getting a surgery on his leg.
Ten years ago, Akshay suffered a serious leg injury and underwent a surgery where they inserted a plate on his right knee. Now, the plate must be removed, for which he has to undergoing another surgery at St John's medical college, Bangalore on 26-02-2019. The cost of the surgery is Rs. 35000.
Akshay hails from a poor economic background, his mother is a single parent and is the only breadwinner of the family. She is 52-year-old and is still working as a house maid to make ends meet. Akshay lost his father when he was 7 years old.
Since Akshay was brilliant as a student, his educational expenses are covered by the Nishwartha Foundation’s scholarship program. This surgery will help Akshay walk again and he can go back to college.
