Helped Amrita Get Spine Surgery

Meet 10-years-old Amrita, the second of three daughters of Satish Naika and Gayatri Naikkar, a resident of Metthadka, Tallur in Devachalla village, of Sullia talk, Dakshina Kannada. Amrita, was diagnosed with Thoracic Scoliosis nearly 6 months ago.

What started as a severe back pain has now gradually resulted in the bending of the spine. She was given initial treatment at a private hospital in Mangalore. However it was not beneficial. Now the doctors at Mangala Hospital in Mangalore who examined it have promised to fix it by undergoing surgery. Doctors said it could cost more than Rs 3 lakh.

As the parents of Amrita are daily wage labourers in a farm, they are not in a situation to bare the costs of surgery. In such a helpless situation, the youths of the neighborhood hospitalized the child.

Donate today and make a massive difference to this child's life.
