Meet Chandayya, a 44-year-old agricultural labourer, who is the only bread winner for his family comprising his wife and four children. About 3 years ago, Chandayya’s world turned upside down when he happened to visit a doctor due to constant vomiting and swollen legs and was diagnosed with double kidney failure. Shortly thereafter, Chandayya was advised to start getting dialysis done. However, due to lack of proper medical services in his village (Raichur), Chandayya had to come to Bangalore for his treatment in Victoria Hospital. Before he can go ahead with the transplant, he must undergo a DNA test which will cost approximately INR 30,000. By God’s grace, Chandayya received the required money from CM fund for the transplant which does not cover the cost of the DNA test.
Currently Chandayya is undergoing dialysis thrice a week. As his financial condition is really bad, he requires financial support amounting to around INR 15,000 to 20,000 per month until the transplantation.
How Right To Live is helping:
As per our background verification, Chandayya is from an economically poor background and cannot afford the cost of his treatment. We, Right To Live team, are trying to do our bit by raising funds for his treatment. We request you to come forward and support Chanddayya for his treatment.
Please remember that 100% of your donation goes towards Chandayya’s treatment. We don’t use any part of donations for admin expenses, since those costs are covered by trustees. The payment is only ever released to hospitals and not placed in patients’ hands. Every little contribution can add a new lease to his life.
