Helped Kavya come back to life and live her IAS dream!

Profile:

Kavya was preparing for her IAS examination and her dream of becoming an IAS officer was shattered when she met with an accident at Bellur Cross on 22/10/2017. She was a pillion rider and despite wearing a helmet she suffered severe head injuries.

She was rushed to BGS Hospital where the first aid treatment was given. Later she was moved to Sparsh Hospital, Yeshwanthpura where she underwent brain and spinal cord (Left FTP Craniotomy) operation.

Currently, she is in a semi coma stage and is undergoing treatment in Neurosurgical ICU under the care of Dr.Shivakumar and team of neuro surgeons. She is in observation for 15 – 20 days in ICU. The approximate cost of the hospitalization would be 5,90,000 including two weeks of hospital stay.

Kavya hails from a poor economic background; both her parents are farmers and are unable to bear the cost of the operation. Every little contribution can give 21 year old Kavya a new lease on life.

How Right to Live is Helping:

We at Right to Live, tried to do our bit by raising a portion of the funds for her treatment. We have raised a total of Rs.320649 through our portal and through our corporate partner Cisco.

Kavya got discharged from Sparsh Hospital on 19th Nov 2017. We have paid Rs.320649 directly to the hospital. We sincerely thank Karthik Sankar and our corporate partner CISCO for championing the case.
