Helped Praveen- A road accident victim

Patient Profile:

India has the maximum number of road accident deaths in the world with 17 fatalities and 55 accidents every hour. Many lives could have been saved, if they have received timely help.

Here is your chance to save Praveen’s life.

Praveen, a resident from Meerut working as a professional driver is the sole earner of his family. He lives with his wife and three children of age 10, 6, and 4. His life was thrown upside down when he met with an accident on Wednesday 13th of September. He was on his bike and a car hit and dragged him for quite a distance. The car is under police custody but the driver ran away.

Praveen got a head injury and probably will lose an eye due to a big slit on his right head so, his nerves getting hurt/impacted. Currently he is in ICU but he was in the ventilator previously. Since there seems to be some movement in his toes, fingers and his head. The doctors feel that it is a good sign but he still needs to gain full conscious.

He was ferried by the government Ambulance 108 in UP from the accident spot. He was taken from the town government hospital to Muzaffar Nagar Government Hospital then to Meerut Medical College and finally to Anand Hospital and admitted him.

The bills at the hospital have already mounted beyond 4 lakhs and they have no financial support. Considering he must be in the hospital for a while this will be a huge amount for his family, and if they stop his treatment because of their financial needs it will collapse his entire family.

How Right to Live is Helping:

Right to Live tried to do our part by raising a portion of the funds for his treatment. Unfortunatly, we are not able to get in touch with the patient. We raised a total of Rs.92,001 thorugh our portal. The funds are not yet released as we are not able to get in touch with the patient. We will hold the funds until we hear from the patient/champion. We will redirect this funds to another patient if we dont hear from the patient/champion.
