Mr. Ramappa, a 67 years old retired Government School Headmaster, has been a great supporter of Right To Live’s Education program. His dedication and passion towards the cause of education has been outstanding. He is one of the rare persons who is well connected with several Government schools, and also with the Government officials of the Education Department.
Mr. Ramappa fell ill last week and upon consulting a doctor, he was diagnosed with a low count of white blood cells along with stones in the kidney. He had to be admitted to ICU for 3 days when the platelet count fell dangerously low and had to be transfused with platelets externally. He is still under hospitalization and needs to undergo surgery for stones in the kidney. For further treatment, he is running short of money and requires about Rs 60,000 including post-operative medicine cost. The treatment is being carried out at Sevakshetra Hospital, Banashankari Bangalore,
