Helped Sandeep to get Kidney transplant!

Patient Profile:

Do you know? Almost 547 people in India die every day due to chronic kidney failure! Even as we speak chronic kidney failure is taking a huge toll on lakhs of families in India. But, you can save someone's life today! Come forward to show your support in helping a 23-year-old Sandeep to get his Kidney transplanted. Sandeep hails from Belgaum district of Karnataka, India. He is the eldest son of Narayana and Shaila. Narayana is a carpenter and he is the only bread winner of his family. Sandeep had always been very bright in studies and due to his hard work, he got placed in Malnadu college of Engineering as a mechanical student. While he was studying in second year, he started getting abdominal pain frequently. When things got worse, his hostel warden took him to the nearest hospital and after initial diagnosis the doctors suggested Sandeep to go to Bangalore for his further tests. In Bangalore, they went to INU hospital, and he was diagnosed with kidney failure, so the doctor suggested him to go for Peritoneal Dialysis (Home dialysis). The total cost for the treatment per month is 30,000 Rs. Since his parents could not donate their kidney due to their health conditions, Sandeep had to register in ZCCK (Zonal Coordination Committee of Karnataka) for organ transplantation. He is now on the top of ZCCK cadaver donor list. Since he is a BPL (Below Poverty Line) card holder, the INU Hospital is doing the surgery for free of cost. However, there are other tests and injections with the surgery that would cost him up to 2,00,000/- Rs. Sandeep is now staying at Visrantidhama in Bangalore where he is in continuous dialysis and awaiting a call from ZCCK for his Kidney transplantation.
