The most exciting time in a couple’s life is the birth of their first child. But this may not hold true with every couple. Meet Narasimha Murthy and Shravani, whose moments of joy ended when they came to know that their seven-month-old baby in the mother’s womb is not healthy and suffering from multiple illness. The couple are trying their best to stay strong and save their baby.
Initially, the couple had consulted a doctor at a Government Hospital in Bagepalli, Chickballapur District. However, the doctor suggested them to move the mother to People Tree Hospital at Bagepalli to conduct several scanning and other tests. Unfortunately, the reports showed that baby is having breathing issues and other illness. Due to low oxygen levels, the doctor has advised the baby should be aborted, otherwise it would affect the mother. Now couple need to undergo surgery for abortion and medicines for treatment, which is estimated to cost about Rs 20,000 to 25,000
Narasimha Murthy works in NGO and Divya is a housewife, and they have no means to meet the hospital expenses. He does not want to lose his wife due to lack of financial support and hence they reached out to Right To Live for help. Let’s join hands for saving the precious life!
