The situation in Kodagu (Coorg) district, Karnataka is grim - the torrential rains have claimed 17 lives, while damaging more than 2,200 homes and buildings. People from across the country and the globe have supported overwhelmingly during the rescue operations.
As we all are aware, the aftermath of the floods are always more shattering and the financial losses worse, we believe that the Kodavas (as people from Coorg are fondly known) need our support NOW more than ever.
Kodagu needs your support for rebuilding the district and rehabilitating hundreds of flood victims, whether it is for paying children’s school fees, rebuilding school infrastructure and homes or reconstructing roads, bridges, buying equipments for the farms…the list could go on and on.
We at Right To Live have decided to support the Kodavas in their rehabilitation and are in touch with a few dedicated “on the ground” people to maximize the effectiveness of your donation to the best of our abilities. Kindly support us in our efforts to revive Kodagu.
All the funds raised (100 %) through this campaign will be used for the rehabilitation and we will be very transparent on the utilization of the funds received.
Please help us by generously donating and share about this campaign with your colleagues, friends and family. Your donations to Right To Live are tax exempt under sec 80G.
