Save Tejeshwaran From Heart Problem!

A father, who is a mere carpenter is struggling to save his son from Heart Problem; such is the plight of Maharajan, whose 8-year old son Tejeshwaran was born with a Single Ventricle and incorrectly positioned heart. Then the ordeal began with the parents – Maharajan and his wife, Bhavani, started running from pillar to post and finally landed at Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Narayana Hrudayalaya has managed the boy extremely well, conducting two major surgeries – Cardiac Catheterisation in Feb 2012, followed by REDO-STERNOTOMY with Bi-directional Glenn Stunt + Atria Septectomy + Take down of BT shunt.

One last surgery – Catheterisation and Fontan procedure to correct the flow of blood has to be performed now to help Tejeshwaran get better. With fairly good concessions given by the hospital, the total procedure plus post-operative care is expected to be approximately INR 5 lakhs and more. The boy will also need medication for a long time to come.

The treatment is much beyond the affordability of Maharajan, considering his humble profession and poor financial background. Maharajan is the only earning member of the family; Bhavani is a simple housewife.

Tejeshwaran has a sister aged 6 years and both the siblings go to a normal school. Tejeshwaran is quite active and intelligent. However, his heart problem creates discomfort quite often and has to be rushed to hospital for treatment. The intended operation is the last of the series and he deserves all the support to lead a healthy life. Your generous contribution will make a huge difference to his life. Please extend your support to the bright little kid.

How Right To Live is helping:

As per our background verification, Tejeshwaran’s family members cannot afford the cost of this treatment. The ‘Right To Live’ team is trying to raise funds for the Tejeshwaran’s continued treatment.

Please remember that 100% of your donation goes to the Tejeshwaran’s treatment. We don’t use any part of donations for admin expenses, since those costs are covered by our trustees. The payment is released only to hospitals and not placed in patients’ hands. So, please come forward and lend a helping hand in supporting Tejeshwaran to get proper medical treatment.
