Achutha Bhatt, the 48-year-old cook from Mangalore in the state of Karnataka, had been detected in the 3rd stage of Esophagus cancer in 2021 in Kasargod Hospital and later shifted to a medical college in Mangalore.

Achutha has already undergone endoscopy once and chemotherapy four times. After a detailed consultation with the specialist, he has been advised to get the Thoraco Laparoscopic Esophagectomy surgery done at the earliest. The cost of this surgery is INR 1,50,000

Achutha comes from a financially disadvantaged family. He is the sole breadwinner of his family and his loved ones are facing difficulties in gathering the required money for the treatment.
