Balasubramanya, a 23-year-old young boy from Bantwal Taluk, Dakshina Kannada, who is a CA intern is in need of help for appendix surgery.
Hailing from a Below-Poverty-Line (BPL) family, he lost his father recently due to kidney failure. Balasubramanya was taking care of his mother and two brothers by performing part-time jobs while pursuing CA internship. Their meagre income is not enough to cover the costs of surgery. He is being treated at Mangala Hospital Mangaluru by Dr Sriram Bhat. The expected cost of full treatment is ₹60,000. Due to the urgent nature of the surgery, the patient couldn’t apply for government programs.
