Help Deepu with Kidney Transplantation

Deepu, a 48-year-old man, stays with his spouse in the city of Trivandrum in the state of Kerala. He had undergone a kidney transplant in 2012, and was doing well healthwise. However, a heart procedure with a dye injection damaged the kidney irreparably in 2022.

Deepu is now undergoing dialysis thrice a week at KIMS hospital, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum). The only recourse is another kidney transplant for which he needs approximately 30 lakh rupees. He and his wife have exhausted all their funds in the first transplant itself which cost them substantial money at that time, and they have no means of raising this amount again by themselves as they are getting by on a meagre income that is fast depleting. They have no kids or family to support them. Although Deepu's family is able to collect 6 lakh rupees from the other sources, they are still short with 24 lakhs.

How Right To Live is helping?

Owing to his humble economic background, Deepu needs financial assistance. Given the enormity of the cost associated with the surgery and subsequent treatment, considering the lack of resources in hand, Right To Live along with Cisco volunteers is helping the family to gather the required fund.

Please remember: 100% of your donation goes to Deepu’s treatment. We don’t use any part of donations for admin expenses since those costs are covered by trustees. The payment is entirely released to hospitals and not placed in patients’ hands.

Right To Live requests your kind cooperation by contributing to this noble cause, which will allow Deepu to complete his treatment and lead a healthy life with his loved ones.
