Little Gangothri is a 3-year-old daughter of Amarnath & Nagarathna. As Gangothri went about living a happy childhood, she unexpectedly got infected with a severe cough at an early age, which prolonged for weeks even after the regular course of medication.

After further consultation, Gangothri and her parents moved to Bangalore where she was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has been on treatment for the same at Paediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit at St John’s Medical College Hospital. She had been advised chemotherapy at the same hospital from February 2021. The duration of the treatment was estimated to be two and a half years.

She has completed her chemotherapy and is currently in the maintenance phase with oral chemo medicines. Last year we had raised a fund of Rs. 98,016/-. This has been consumed with her admission in hospital 7 times. Now, they are asking for support for her further treatment.

Gangothri’s parents cannot afford the heavy cost of this continued treatment as they are daily-wage laborers. Her parents have covered the treatment charges until now and are requesting further financial support to continue the treatment of their beloved daughter to enable her to lead a happy and healthy life.

Owing to her humble economic background, she requires financial assistance. Given the enormity of the cost associated with cancer treatment, considering the lack of resources in hand, Right To Live has been helping the family to gather the required fund. The estimates mentioned above are inclusive of any Intensive Care admission that little Gangothri might require during her treatment period.
