Vincent, a 51 year old driver, was leading a happy life with his wife and daughter until he came to know about kidney failure (in his case both the kidneys have failed). He is the sole wage earner for his family, and after losing both his kidneys, he is unable to do any kind of work today.

Vincent’s illness started with a recurring high fever. He consulted a local doctor who referred him to St John’s Hospital Bangalore for treatment where he was diagnosed with renal failure. Since then, Vincent is undergoing dialysis thrice a week which costs around INR 500 per dialysis at Ranka Dialysis Centre in Jayanagar. With no income, he is left with no choice but to approach others to meet his monthly expenses of approximately INR 16,500 only for dialysis and medicines. Life is a daily struggle for Vincent and like other kidney patients, he also faces a multitude of other issues, including reduced immunity, lack of energy, and other medical problems.

As per our background verification, Vincent is economically poor, and cannot afford the cost of his treatment. We, at Right to Live, are trying to do our bit by raising funds for his dialysis.
