Education is often the only path to a better future for children from low-income families. But for Vivek H. M., that path is now at risk.

Vivek is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at KLE Society's S. Nijalingappa College, Bengaluru. In the past two years, he has faced unimaginable loss. His father, Late Mr. Manjunath H. S., passed away due to a heart attack in 2025, and his mother, Late Mrs. Jyothi G., passed away in 2026. As their only child, Vivek is now left to face life alone.

Despite these hardships, Vivek did not give up on his dream of earning a degree. Coming from a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family, he was unable to afford his first-year college fees, which were generously supported by his neighbours, friends, and relatives. He is now entering his second year and urgently about INR 1,25,000 towards his college tuition fees & educational expenses.

Vivek completed his 2nd PUC with First Class and remains determined to pursue his higher education despite the immense personal loss he has endured. While none of us can ease the emotional pain of losing both parents, we can help reduce his financial burden and encourage him to focus on his studies and build a brighter future.
