Nikhil Kumar Kabra, a 29-year-old son of Mr. Gopal Kabra, is a resident of Rishra city of Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal. Nikhil has been suffering from end-stage renal disease and after a detailed consultation with a specialist at the Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata, he has been advised to undergo a Renal Transplant.

Nikhil comes from a financially disadvantaged family, is currently unable to work due to health concerns and has spent all his life savings on his treatment so far. His parents are senior citizens. The cost associated with the transplant surgery itself is INR 10.42 Lakhs. Thus, the family is now facing difficulties in gathering the required money for their son’s treatment.
