In the quiet hours of a March evening, a tiny warrior came into the world. Sharmila gave birth to a precious baby girl on 14/03/2024, weighing just 560 grams. Despite her premature arrival, she surprised everyone by crying immediately after birth, a testament to her incredible fighting spirit.

However, her early journey has been filled with challenges. Born prematurely with severe respiratory distress, she was admitted to the NICU at Jain Hospital Bangalore. There, she receives around-the-clock care from dedicated medical professionals, who are doing everything possible to help her survive and thrive.

Starting with CPAP and IV fluids, alongside crucial medications, she has bravely faced initial setbacks, including episodes of respiratory distress and acidosis. Her father is a driver while her mother manages the household and has already exhausted their resources. They've taken loans and pawned their wedding jewelry to cover the mounting medical expenses, estimated at INR 9 Lakhs.

This little fighter is not alone in her battle. With your support, we can ensure she receives the specialized care she needs to overcome these challenges. Every contribution counts towards giving her a fighting chance at a healthy life.

How Right to Live is helping?

Owing to her humble economic background, an infant needs financial assistance. Given the continuity of the cost associated with treatment, considering the lack of resources in hand, Right to Live is helping the family gather the required funds.

Please remember: 100% of your donation goes to an infant treatment. We don’t use any part of donations for admin expenses since trustees cover those costs. The payment is entirely released to the concerned hospital and not placed in the patient’s hands.

Right to Live requests your kind cooperation by contributing to this noble cause, which will allow the child to help in the treatment of severe respiratory distress and lead a healthy life with her loved ones.
