Teenage is the phase of growth and development between childhood and adulthood, the most beautiful phase of life which will be cherished for the rest of the life by a person. But what if life stops at the beginning of this phase or becomes worse day by day, it would be the worst thing that can happen to anyone.

That is the same situation that 18-year-old Pavan is going through. Pavan K, who is studying B.Com, is a leukaemia patient. He started suffering from fever, severe back pains and vomiting because of the illness. Later, he was diagnosed with leukaemia, and is being treated in Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital, Bangalore. He is undergoing chemotherapy and has completed five cycles. Because of chemotherapy, he is also facing some of the side effects, which has to be treated before it turns into another problem for him. Doctors have recommended him for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT). The total cost of chemo followed by transplant would cost about INR 18,00,000.

Pavan’s family struggled a lot to educate him, hoping that he could be independent, earn for his living and live a better quality of life. But due to the above illness his ambitions have been compromised. The family is not able to afford the hospital bills, due to which they need your support to save Pavan’s life.

Pavan is from a low-income family. They have already spent their savings on the treatment, and they can’t even seek a loan as they are already in debt.
