Skills and knowledge development are the driving forces behind the growth and community development of a country. This must be complemented by economic growth and opportunities to meet the aspirations of the youth. Addressing this concern, an e-learning platform in Karnataka offers affordable online classes to students preparing for a board exam, Medical or Engineering entrance exam including other foundation-level exams. This aims to encourage financially disadvantaged (Government school) students to take up professional courses without their economic condition being a barrier.

How does Right to Live help?

We have identified 26 students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bagalur, Bangalore, who are aspirants of the K-CET which is an entrance exam to get admission to a State Engineering College. Due to their financial background, they are unable to purchase the relevant online courses including material books which would help them achieve what they want. Right to Live is helping Sankalp gather the fund which will ensure the students avail the benefits of their valuable online course.

The course offered by Sankalp Learning Solutions costs INR 2,000 per person. The cost associated with the support to the 26 underprivileged students would be INR 52,000. This course includes books, 11,000 MCQ from 127 chapters, 240 hours of pre-recorded videos and 160 hours of live crash course after their final board exam.

With the help of Right to Live in the previous year, Sankalp conducted 400 hours of live classes in Government colleges across Karnataka (Please find below the image of the toppers from the beneficiary colleges). We, support the cause of helping underprivileged bright students aiming for a professional course/competitive exam through the courses of Sankalp.
