Mr. Gopalappa, a 60-year-old individual from Thorapalli, a small village in Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu, was admitted with fever, drowsiness, vomiting, and loose stools. Further investigations revealed a subarachnoid haemorrhage with bleeding extending into the left temporal lobe and ventricles. A CT Cerebral Angiogram confirmed a ruptured left Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) aneurysm, which was identified as the cause of the brain haemorrhage. He was immediately referred to Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru, where he needs to undergo a left frontotemporal craniotomy with clipping of the MCA bifurcation aneurysm. The total cost of the surgery and treatment is estimated at INR5 lakh, which includes the surgery, ICU care, medications, investigations, and post-operative rehabilitation.

Mr. Gopalappa belongs to a small agricultural family with an annual income of less than ?40,000, and his children are also engaged in small-scale farming, making it extremely difficult for them to bear the treatment expenses. Although he is covered under the Tamil Nadu Government Health Insurance Scheme, it cannot be utilized for treatment in Karnataka, leaving the family with no financial support during this medical emergency.

How Right to Live NGO is Helping?

Owing to his humble economic background, Mr. Gopalappa needs urgent financial assistance to continue his treatment and recovery following a ruptured brain aneurysm and subarachnoid haemorrhage. Considering the high cost of treatment and the family's limited financial resources, Right to Live is supporting them in raising the required funds.

Please note that 100% of your donation will go directly towards Mr. Gopalappa's treatment. No portion of the funds is used for administrative expenses, as these are covered by the trustees. All payments are made directly to the concerned hospital to ensure complete transparency.

Right to Live requests your kind support in helping Mr. Gopalappa receive the treatment he urgently needs and giving him the opportunity to recover and return to his loved ones.

Please donate and share this campaign to help save Mr. Gopalappa's life.
