Smaran S, a 3-year old infant of Mr.Shivashankarappa B C, is a resident of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka. He has been detected in the 4th stage of Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, a rare type of cancer developing from immature cells of the immune system.

After a detailed consultation with a specialist at the Manipal Hospital, Yeshwanthpur, he has been prescribed chemo-radiotherapy as an immediate treatment which is an expensive process costing 25 lakhs.

Smaran comes from a financially disadvantaged family. His father is an electrician, earning a meagre monthly salary and his mother is a homemaker. Due to such an economic condition, the family is facing difficulties in gathering the required money for their son’s treatment.
